Delias Thompson designs hand fabricated art jewelry from precious metals in sterling silver, 18K, and 22K gold often finding balance in using both. She is inspired by organic images that can be found in her natural surroundings and manipulated to push the limits and boundaries of the imagination.
Often beginning a design with a basic sketch based on the shape of a flower or leaf she then manipulates the design to create the perception of movement within it's folds, lines, and curves. Her work is heavily embellished and oxidized to enhance the contrast in the hand chased patterns, simple lines, and vibrant stones.
